As an original London West End musical, Miss Saigon was extremely successful. It moved to Broadway in 1991 and ran for almost 10 years with over 4,000 performances. Currently, it is the 10th longest running Broadway musical of all time, and still considered one of the best written by Schonberg and Boublil. As an adaptation of the opera Madame Butterfly, the soundtrack to Miss Saigon is one of the best when it comes to music. There are several songs in Miss Saigon such as “The Morning of the Dragon” and “The Heat is on in Saigon.” All of them sound incredible on vinyl.
