This 2-speed (33 and 45RPM), quartz-controlled, direct drive turntable features a heavy, cast alloy plinth and die-cast aluminum platter driven by a PXM-051 Hall-effect motor. Unique to the unit is an analogue meter which shows quartz lock setting, speed setting and which indicates the level of pitch adjustment chosen. Other qualities of the PLC 590 include:
