Wayne Shorter
Wayne Shorter is one of the most important jazz saxophonists and composers since the 1960’s. Recording dozens of albums both as a leader and as an accompaniment to other amazing jazz performers such as Miles Davis and Art Blakey, Wayne Shorter has become a standard in jazz classics. While in Davis’s band he recorded such jazz fusion hits as “In a Silent Way” and “Bitches Brew” and after he went solo he continued on with such jazz hits as “Weather Report.” With several Grammy Awards to his name, Wayne Shorter continues to compose and play music to this day. His amazing sounds can be heard best on vinyl.
