Les Miserables
Les Miserables, an original novel by Victor Hugo, has become of the most successful musicals of all time. Following the lives of the characters over a 20 year period of time in the 19th century, the book was adapted to a stage musical in 1980 where it opened in Paris. In the musical world, it is the many songs from Les Miserables that are even more popular than the musical itself, especially on vinyl. Cosette’s “Castle on a Cloud” and “At the End of the Day” are just two of the amazing songs that can be heard on the soundtrack of Les Miserables.
