Edvard Grieg

Edvard Grieg, a Norwegian composer and pianist, was a well known composer in the Romantic period. His most popular work was the Piano Concerto in A minor and his collection of piano miniatures Lyric Pieces. Renowned as a nationalist composer, Edvard Grieg drew much of his inspiration from Norwegian folk music as seen in many of his symphonies and piano sonatas. Truly inspiring and wonderful, you can hear much of Edvard Grieg’s works on vinyl.
