Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky was one of the most influential composers of the 20th century. Russian born, he was not only a classical composer but a pianist and conductor as well. He showed a lot of diversity in his compositions as well as a lot of style. He composed for ballets and it was there that he composed “The Rite” which transformed the way composers thought of rhythmic structure. With his melodic ideas and construction of classical compositions, Stravinsky is best listened to on vinyl to get the real energy of his music.
