Tootsie
Tootsie, a 1982 comedy film, has earned a reputation of a movie before its time. As one of the classics of all time, Tootsie was the story of an actor who went to ridiculous lengths to get the job of his dreams. Deemed in 1998 by the US Library of Congress as “culturally significant,” Tootsie is one of the American favorites when it comes to 80’s classic films. The music, especially the song “It Might Be You” reached high levels of popularity as well, and became one of the most played wedding songs of the 1980’s. Tootsie may be great on film, but the soundtrack is just as good on vinyl.
