  • Eddie Vedder

As the frontman of ’90s grunge icons Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder helped create some of the most vital music of the decade. His distinct baritone and hard-hitting lyrics embodied the angst of the era – as did his legal stand against Ticketmaster. After two decades recording with Pearl Jam and a string of hit albums (Ten, Vs., Vitalogy, No Code, Yield, Binaural…), Vedder released his first solo project in 2007 with Into the Wild, which served as the soundtrack for the Sean Penn film of the same name. Vedder’s second solo album, Ukulele Songs, was released in 2011 and features Vedder performing a selection of originals and covers on ukulele. Largely inspired by The Who, Neil Young, and The Doors as a teenager, Vedder has proved just as influential to a whole new generation of music lovers.
