    • Led Zeppelin III

    Led Zeppelin III was the third album released by the great English rock band Led Zeppelin. The album was recorded between January and July in 1970 and was released by Atlantic records on 5 October 1970. Mainly composed in a remote Welsh village cottage called Bron-Yr-Aur, this album shows the band’s maturing status. Instead of the usual rock and blues music they had become known for, this album was more acoustic and folk in terms of sound. This approach bemused critics and fans alike and received mixed reviews upon release. The album is now considered as being an important period during the band’s history.
