  • Between the Buttons

    The Rolling Stones’ released Between the Buttons in 1967 after recording it in Los Angeles and London in 1966. There were different version of the album in the UK and US. The UK edition came out in January and reached number 3 on the charts. The US version added the hit singles “Let’s Spend the Night Together, and Ruby Tuesday,” replacing “Back Street Girl, and Please Go Home,” which would be included the next US release, Flowers. In America, “Ruby Tuesday” reached number one and the album went to number 2. It was the band’s last album to be produced by Andrew Loog Oldham. Between the Buttons was originally released on Decca/London.
