Ventures
The Ventures were a unique instrumental rock band that formed in 1958. With their new sound, they had a huge impact on the development of music worldwide and have sold over 100 million records. In fact, to date they are the best selling instrumental band of all time and were just recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Most of their success came in the 1960’s when they put out a whopping 34 albums, but even now they are still listened to regularly, especially on vinyl. Many famed guitarists cited that the Ventures were their inspiration with one song in particular standing out; “Walk Don’t Run.” Probably the most famous song put out by the Ventures is the theme to "Hawaii 5-0". The Ventures still tour regularly in Japan where they are highly revered and still loved as they should be.
