    Ted Nugent

As the original guitarist of The Amboy Dukes group, Ted Nugent was a hard rock guitarist and vocalist that gained fame for his conservative political views and second amendment activism. Going solo in 1975, he worked to release such great hits as “Cat Scratch Fever” and “Stranglehold” before touring extensively until 1978. Ted Nugent was not only an amazing singer who sounds incredible on vinyl, but he was an important early influence on the straight edge movement in which rock stars vowed to stay away from drugs and alcohol which was almost unheard of at the time. Going on to form the group “Damn Yankees” Ted Nugent continued his straight edge ways and went on to sell millions of albums in his career.
