Elvis Costello was easily one of the most important influences on rock music to date. Considered to be a “pop encyclopedia” because his broad vocabulary, Elvis Costello had moderate musical success during the 1970’s. But it was the 80’s when his soul infused “Get Happy” album made waves in the music world. Ranked as #80 on the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time list by Rolling Stone Magazine, Elvis Costello and his many genres of music, are amazing to listen to on vinyl.
