Eric B. and Rakim are a hip hop duo that is considered to be one of the most groundbreaking groups in the history of hip hop. It is their revolutionary rhyming style that seems almost effortless on vinyl that is sophisticated in the use of metaphors and rhymes. The duo has put out 4 albums as a duo and it was their last album “Don’t Sweat the Technique” that made the most noise in the hip hop world. Both have gone on to solo careers, but together they are still recognized as one of the great early hip hop duos.
