Redd Foxx, a comedian, was best known for his highly funny starring role on the sitcom “Sanford and Son.” Before that though, he gained notoriety with his nightclub act which was considered to be raunchy and sexual for the time. His stand up performances were later released as “party” albums and became hugely successful. As one of the first black comics to play for white audiences on the Las Vegas Strip, Redd Foxx will always be remembered for his hysterical stand up comedy which you can hear on vinyl.
