Afrika Bambaataa
Afrika Bambaataa is a DJ and self proclaimed community leader that was extremely instrumental in the early development of hip hop music. Gaining notoriety in the 1970’s, Afrika Bambaataa is one of the three main originators of deejaying and is known as the “Godfather” of hip hop culture. With many collaborations of music such as “Renegades of Funk” he was nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year. His electro music style found in his earlier works sounds amazing on vinyl.
