Charlie Parker
Charlie Parker, an amazing jazz saxophonist and composer, is very influential in the jazz genre. He played a leading role in developing “bebop” which is a specific form of jazz with fast tempos and improvisation based on harmonic structure. His innovative approach to music is what lead Charlie Parker to have such an influence on future jazz musicians. Some of his work such as “Yardbird Suite” and “Ornithology” have become standards of jazz that sound absolutely breathtaking on vinyl.
