  • Earl Hines

Earl Hines, known around the world as “Fatha Hines” was a one of an elite group of jazz pianists that really shaped what jazz became. Playing both before and after the Big Band era, Earl Hines started out by meeting and later directing Louis Armstrong’s band. Using his trumpet style piano playing, Earl Hines recorded numerous songs including “My Monday Date” and “57 Varieties.” Hines recorded 16 albums in all which sound incredible on vinyl.
