REM is an American alternative rock band that formed in the early 1980’s. They enjoyed moderate success in the mid 1980’s thanks to heavy rotation on college radio stations. They achieved massive success in the late 1980’s with their album “Document”. In the early 1990’s, they released “Out of Time”, and with the hit “Losing my Religion”, the band achieved legendary status.
