Their Satanic Majesty’s Request was a psychedelic album by the rock band the Rolling Stones. It was recorded between February and October 1967 at the Olympic Studios in London. The album was released on December 8, 1967 in the UK and on December 9, 1967 in the US. The album itself created a large split opinion that bordered on some people liking the album to a substandard Sgt Pepper album released by the Beatles. It was the last and only time The Rolling Stones went down a psychedelic route. In 1968 they went back to what they were famous for.
