Bob Dylan
Bob Dylan, a cultural icon in rock music, has been in music for over five decades. Bob Dylan’s most celebrated work was from the 1960’s but his songs have remained popular for all generations after him such as “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “Like a Rolling Stone”. His music has incorporated lyrics about politics, literacy, culture, and even the civil rights movement. Performing with the guitar, piano and harmonica, Bob Dylan never had a #1 album in America until his most recent album “Modern Times” which entered the U.S. album chart at #1. He has received many awards and honors but none being more important then when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Any one of his numerous popular albums such as “Blonde on Blond” are still great to listen to on vinyl.
